Review by hotel critic
The location of the hotel was truly exceptional, situated on Royal Mile with easy access to the castle, Princess St, and the city's transportation system. As a frequent traveler, I can confidently say that there is no better location to stay in Edinburgh. Upon arrival, I was struck by the romantic stairs leading up to the property, adding to the overall charm of the building. the view of the domed roof on the Bank of Scotland building from my room was a delightful touch. the apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a bath, powerful shower, and a kitchen stocked with cookware and utensils. I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of complimentary biscuits and the availability of a wide range of TV channels for entertainment. Despite the slightly outdated aesthetic of the property, it gave off a cozy cottage vibe that I found endearing. Contrary to some Negative reviews, I found the heating to be more than sufficient, especially considering the chilly January weather. As someone with a European background but having lived in England for a significant period, I can understand the varying expectations when it comes to accommodation.
